Custom Flavors marked an exciting new chapter with the grand opening of our new facility in Concord, North Carolina, on June 11, 2026. The event brought together over 90 team members, customers, partners, local leaders, media, and friends of the company to celebrate a major milestone in our continued growth.
The grand opening celebration included a ribbon-cutting ceremony and leadership remarks reflecting on the vision behind the Concord expansion, the collaboration that brought the project to life, and the opportunities ahead. Guests also had the opportunity to tour the new facility and see firsthand how the space is designed to support production, quality, R&D, pilot-scale development, and application testing.
A leadership and technical panel added another meaningful layer to the event, featuring members of the Custom Flavors executive and innovation teams. The conversation offered insight into the operational advantages of a two-coast footprint, the future of flavor development, and the ways our flavor chemists approach collaboration, problem-solving, and speed-to-market support for customers.

A Purpose-Built Flavor Manufacturing & Distribution Hub
The new 53,000-square-foot Concord location will serve as an East Coast hub for flavor development, manufacturing, and customer support. As phases of the facility continue to come online, the expansion is expected to double Custom Flavors’ production capacity and triple our innovation space, creating more opportunities for hands-on collaboration and customer-focused development.
With operations now positioned on both coasts, Custom Flavors will also be able to reach approximately 85% of the U.S. within two business days. This added reach supports faster transit times, greater flexibility, and continued commitment to the made-to-order service model our customers know and trust.
While the day marked an important operational milestone, it was also a celebration of flavor creativity and what’s ahead. Guests experienced a custom menu across coffee, tea, sparkling beverages, passed appetizers, and macarons, each designed to inspire and showcase how trending flavor profiles can be elevated through thoughtful flavor design.
The experience carried through to a coast-to-coast-inspired takeaway gift box, created as a nod to Custom Flavors’ expanding bi-coastal presence and the continued innovation to come.
